FinTech Alliance has announced its third annual investment series to improve access to capital for UK FinTechs.
In Brief:
The series includes a number of events, workshops and networking opportunities, and will culminate in a live pitch day.
It aims to connect Seed and Series A FinTechs with angel investor and VCs.
Signups are now open for FinTechs and investors, and close on 30 March.
What does this mean?
The series has a more regional focus this year, with events planned across the UK to find the most innovative FinTechs in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the North and West of England as well as London.
The biggest change from previous years will be a stronger focus on in-person networking, and the series has also been opened up to FinTechs who are not yet holding a funding round. They will be able to attend the workshops and learn how to perfect their pitch, negotiate with investors and more.
Overall, the series aims to demistify the funding process and help FinTechs and investors build connections they’d otherwise miss out on.
