Facebook has announced it will reverse a policy which prevents cryptocurrency companies form advertising on the platform.
In Brief:
The decision was announced on Wednesday.
Previously, some crypto businesses could advertise if they submitted licences and other information.
However, only three licences were accepted. This has now been increased to 27.
What does this mean?
From an overall ban in January 2018 on cryptocurrency advertising, a number of barriers have been removed since then. These rules impacted Facebook and Instagram.
