Amsterdam FinTech Kinder has raised almost £500,000 and wants to raise more this year.
In Brief:
-
Kinder aims to partner with global organisations to make private charitable donations faster and easier.
-
It was set to raise €2.53mn this year but amid Covid-19 raised a much smaller round.
-
However it says it will raise its €3mn round later in the year.
What does this mean?
The initial investment hasn’t been confirmed yet so we do not have details about the investors – however it shows that confidence in the FinTech market is picking up as startups look toward the end of 2020.
Through its platform Charity Zone which helps people donate and helps nonprofits seek donations, the FinTech says it wants to “rebuild trust” in the sector.
