Ali Niknam, the CEO of fintech Bunq, has set up a foundation to help people in Russia and Ukraine impacted by the war.
In Brief:
The foundation aims to help people from both countries get to safety.

Now Visas have been granted by the EU, the foundation is focusing on practically moving people to safety and taking donations.
What does this mean?
Niknam is one of a number of FinTech CEOs to have spoken out and tried to support victims of the current situation through sponsoring visas, making donations easier or contributing money and supplies.
The Bunq CEO has been vocal that Russian people as well as Ukranian people must be supported.
