Users of French FinTech Lydia will now be able to trade cryptocurrency.
In Brief:
Lydia will now offer the chance to trade over 170 crypto assets.
This is possible through a partnership with Austrian tech unicorn Bitpanda.
Lydia currently has 5.5mn users.
What does this mean?
Bitpanda says that France is a key market for its current strategy, and it’s opening an office in Paris. Through the partnership with Lydia it will be able to open up cryptocurrency trading opportunities into this new market.
