Twitter and Square Founder Jack Dorsey teamed up with artist Jay-Z to launch an education programme around Bitcoin.

The Bitcoin Academy is being launched in the Brooklyn housing complex where Jay-Z grew up.
Marcy Houses residents can attend free classes about Bitcoin either online or in person.
The course is being led by Black Bitcoin Billionaire’s Lamar Wilson and Crypto Blockchain Plug’s Najah J Roberts.
What does this mean?
The Bitcoin Academy has stated it wants to offer “education”, and “empower” people with knowledge about Bitcoin, as well as more general finance. Jay-Z says he wants to offer people from the community he grew up in the “tools to build independence for themselves”.
