Barclays' Rise, OpenFin offer prize to FinTech startup

Financial services giant Barclays has teamed up with OpenFin to support innovative startups.

Rise, a global network of FinTech workspaces created by Barclays, and OpenFin, an operating system that powers financial desktops, have come together to organise a the Financial Desktop Innovation Contest.  

A unique opportunity that could take a startup business to the next level, the organisations are seeking the best technology companies based across the UK and EU.

Committed to supporting companies at every stage, they are seeking businesses building the next generation of financial desktop applications.

The competition offers a £20,000 cash prize to help get the business to the next level. The benefits of the OpenFin Operating System and the Rise ecosystem will help businesses find efficiencies and drive the financial services industry forward.

In order to enter, the company must apply to one challenge area:

  • Data Insights and Information Discovery
  • Communication and Collaboration Tools
  • Productivity and Employee Happiness
  • Client Success

Companies can apply here – applications close on Friday 24 April.
