Avaloq has announced Avaloq Ventures is being spun out from the Avaloq Group.

Avaloq Ventures was launched in 2020 and focuses on “early stage” “next generation” players in Financial Services.
The fund has been renamed FiveT Fintech.
What does this mean?
Avaloq Ventures AG, the fund’s investment advisor, is now a separate entity to the Avaloq Group, so the management team can be more agile in advising the fund.
Avaloq says the fund will still have the same strategic focus and that the wider Avaloq business will still maintain its interest and involvement.
