Adyen and Klarna are enhancing their global partnership to simplify card payments for the latter’s 150 million consumers and 500,000 retail partners.
In brief:
- Adyen, the global financial technology platform for many of the world's leading companies, has offered Klarna’s suite of payment methods – including its interest-free shop now, pay later option – to Adyen customers for more than a decade
- The partnership enters a new strategic phase where Adyen, for the first time ever, assumes the role of one of Klarna's acquiring banks on behalf of the Swedish firm’s different consumer offerings, starting in Europe, North America and Asia in 2024
- Adyen will, as a payment provider, help Klarna make more seamless payments for its tens of millions of worldwide users.
