DopeCard Holdings Limited

More than 70% of African youth do not have access to financial services. For so long, young people have regarded banking as obtuse, complex and opaque. Young people everywhere need support to transition successfully to a financially secure future. At Dope Card we believe that one key to that transition is to develop sound financial habits starting at a young age, no later than at tertiary level, and more likely earlier. The effects of young people being economically included in society go far beyond young people themselves— entire societies benefit when more citizens possess healthy financial habits as active participants.

Dope Card is a youth financial alternative to traditional banking. We are changing habits and perceptions by building a more youth-focused banking product that offers outstanding value for the youth without complexity. The product is designed to fit the lifestyle of every youth, and is especially conceived for students.

We’re building a new kind of bank. We have partnered Africa’s biggest bank, Ecobank, to solve problems, treat your fairly and being totally transparent. We believe we can make banking better.
Since we started, we’ve been busy building a bank that understands the youth and the times we are in. How people need money every step of the way, How people will love banking and most importantly cross the unbanked population in Africa.
