Lili raises $15mn to support freelancers  

US banking app Lili has raised $15mn in its Series A funding round.  

In Brief:  

  • The round was led by Group 11, including Foundation Capital, AltaIR and more.  

  • Lili previously raised $10mn Seed funding earlier this year.  

  • Lili offers freelance workers an app that enables banking as well as expense tracking, insights and tax tools.  

What does this mean?  

There are about 60mn freelance workers in the US – the number is rising but also the market is becoming more uncertain due to Covid-19, so it’s important freelance workers have an effective way to manage their money.
