Laybuy partners with Manchester United on BNPL

Laybuy partners with Manchester United on BNPL

Laybuy has become Manchester United’s official buy now, pay later partner.

In Brief:

  • Man U customers will be able to buy merchandise at Old Trafford with Laybuy.

  • It allows customers to pay for items in interest-free payments over six weeks.

  • The New Zealand FinTech is currently preparing to float on the Australian stock exchange.

What does this mean?

As services and shops begin to open up again, getting customers in the door and encouraging them to buy will be the next big challenge for retailers. Man U’s partnership with Laybuy will enable fans who visit the ground to spread the cost of any purchases made – presumably meaning people will be able to buy more when they visit.
