Tink and Enel X partner on open banking  

Enel X has chosen European FinTech Tink as its open banking provider.  

In Brief:  

  • Enel X is the business line of Europe’s largest utility company, Enel Group.  

  • Enel X Financial Services, its payment solutions, subsidiary, is embracing open banking.  

  • Tink will enable Enel X FS to launch new digital financial solutions.  

What does this mean?  

The deal will make Tink’s open banking services available to millions of Enel customers across the globe. Enel says it has ambitions to become a leading player in digital banking, and says open banking will help achieve this goal.
