Plenti is latest Australian FinTech to go public  

Australian FinTech firm Plenti Group is launching on the ASX today (Wednesday).  

In Brief:  

  • It has a market cap of $280.3mn.  

  • Plenti offers a platform for lending and investing across Australia.  

  • It was established in 2014 and has 22,000 investors on its platform.  

What does this mean?  

The business hoped to raise A$50mn at IPO but has instead raised $55mn. It aims to open up investing to all, and offer loans that are flexible, fast and fair.
