FinTech Alliance company DirectID says it will take advantage of the government’s Kickstart scheme.
Kickstart will subsidise six-month work placements for 16-24 year olds across six months.
This is in response to many people being left on Universal Credit due to Covid-19.
DirectID will take on 30 staff.
What does this mean?
CEO James Varga says the scheme is a “great opportunity” and has expressed frustration that more FinTechs are not getting involved.
This could be because the scheme requires a minimum of 30 placements – but if a FinTech can’t take on that many people, FinTech Alliance can help you join with other companies. Find out more by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
