Mastercard says the time is right to be focusing on FinTEch thanks to huge shifts toward digital payment and the growth of new technologies.
Start Path itself is a six month programme which offers technical and operational support as well as commercial support through the Mastercard ecosystem. It has so far helped more than 200 startups.
