Barclays unveils digital wealth management service

The bank offers a personalised investment service for current account customers

In Brief

  • The new service is called Barclays Plan & Invest and developed in collaboration with Scalable Capital.
  • The hybrid digital wealth management service is open for all customers with a minimum of £5000 to invest.
  • Customers will be asked to complete an in-depth investment risk and aspiration questionnaire.

What does this mean?

Barclays says it created the service after customers said they wanted an investment service that offered the convenience and affordability of robo-advice, but with the added personalisation of Wealth Management.
