Dun & Bradstreet makes $1.7bn in IPO

Data business Dun & Bradstreet debuted on the New York stock market on Wednesday. 

In Brief:

  • Shares gained 15.2% on the day

  • Its stock was initially offered at $22 but shares closed at $25.35.

  • Having sold 78.3mn shares, the business has a market value of around $8.8bn according to Bloomberg.

 

What does this mean?

This is the second time Dun & Bradstreet has been publicly listed; it was taken private in 2018 and at that point had a value of about $6.9bn.
