MoneyGram partners with Korean FinTech  

MoneyGram International has partnered with Global Money Express Co (GME).

In Brief:

  • GME is one of the biggest money transfer FinTechs in South Korea.

  • The partnership will enable GME customers to connect to MoneyGram’s network across 200 countries and territories.

  • MoneyGram has also recently partnered with E9Pay, a Korean remittance company.


What does this mean?

MoneyGram wants to accelerate its digital growth and strengthen its position in the South Korean P2P payments and remittance market – this will be a vital step on that journey.
