Middlegame gains €10mn for Irish FinTech

Middlegame Ventures has gained €10mn investment to create a funding pool for FinTech companies in Ireland.

In Brief:

  • The funding has been awarded by Enterprise Ireland.

  • Middlegame’s FinTech pool will be worth up to €20mn.

  • The investment firm is based in the US but has now opened an office in Ireland.

What does this mean?

Middlegame has shown a commitment to developing FinTech, and held an accelerator in Dublin and Luxemboug last year. Its current fund will close at the end of 2020.
