Nike partners with challenger bank for crypto payments

Nike has partnered with London based FinTech Plutus.

In Brief:

  • The partnership will allow cashback on online Nike purchases.

  • Plutus allows customers to spend crypto on a Visa debit card.

  • They can connect their crypto and fiat wallets in an app.

What does this mean?

Plutus is aiming to bring cryptocurrency further into everyday life. By integrating crypto with legacy infrastructure, it allows people to spend it anywhere immediately. Currently Plutus’ payment method is usable by over 61mn merchants worldwide.
