Mastercard partners with Pakistan FinTech for financial inclusion

Jazzcash has partnered with Mastercard in Pakistan.

In Brief:

  • Jazzcash is a mobile wallet platform with over 7mn monthly users.

  • Users will get a range of benefits from Mastercard digital solutions.

  • Merchants will be able to accept digital payments, and digitise their supply chain.

What does this mean?

The two businesses hope to strengthen the payments ecosystem in Pakistan for merchants and customers alike – Mastercard has said there’s still a huge lack of financial inclusion in Pakistan and this partnership should help with simple, fast and secure payment methods. It’s the first time users in Pakistan will get access to the range of benefits Mastercard offers through a FinTech.
