Flagstone raises £12mn

UK cash deposit marketplace operator Flagstone has raised £12mn.

In Brief:

  • The funding round was led by Omers Ventures.

  • It also included existing investors such as Moneysupermarket Group.

  • Flagstone helps companies and individuals compare and open accounts.

What does this mean?

Users of Flagstone can look at 44 interest bearing deposit accounts, compare them and open multiple accounts in “seconds”. With the new funding, Flagstone says it wants to extend its penetration of the market. It will stay within the UK for now, choosing to focus on new customer segments.
