Stash raises $112mn

US banking and investment FinTech Stash has raised $112mn.

In Brief:

  • This was the startup’s Series F round which included Lending Tree.

  • Just a year ago the company raised $65mn.

  • It has 4.3mn subscription users and $1bn AUM.

What does this mean?

Stash subscriptions cost between just $1 and $9, and users can get started with as little at one cent – so its growth has relied on a high volume. Stash customers can buy fractional shares in stocks and funds, but the platform has also become a one-stop-shop for banking, investing, advice and technology – it even provides financial education tools.
