Railsbank gains Visa backing

Open banking and compliance platform Railsbank has raised funds from Visa and Global Brain.

In Brief:

  • It’s an undisclosed strategic investment, said to be in the millions.

  • This follows the company’s $10mn Series A round in 2019.

  • A fiveyear strategic partnership has been signed with Visa and Railsbank will become a principal issuing member.

What does this mean?

The agreement with Visa means Railsbank can access the payments giant’s partner network. It’s also joined the Visa Fintech Fast Track Programme.
