Phos raises €1.3mn funding

UK FinTech Phos, which offers software-only PoS, has raised €1.3mn in funding.

In Brief:

  • This brings total raised up to €2.5mn.

  • The round included New Vision 3 and a number of angel investors.

  • Phos allows merchants to accept payments directly on their smartphones thank to its no-hardware model.

What does this mean?

Phos will use the funding to introduce new features, such an a Software Development Kit. Phos has gained popularity as it’s quick and easy to deploy especially for a smaller business that doesn’t want the expense of extra hardware.
