FinTech bodies in Australia and Geneva have signed an MoU to drive collaboration.
The formal agreement was witnessed by the Geneva Fintech Association, FinTech Australia, the State of Geneva and Committee on Economic Development.
The agreement focuses on collaboration and knowledge sharing involving emerging technologies.
It will also facilitate talent development and access to market.
What does this mean?
The partnership will kick off in practice with a series of projects run by FinTech Australia and Geneva Fintech over the coming months. Joint events will be hosted and educational materials developed by Geneva will be made available to FinTech Australia members.
