Lloyds Banking Group releases green app

Lloyds is set to release an app to help clients improve energy efficiency.

In Brief:

  • Commercial Banking clients can identify and make energy-efficient investments in their buildings.

  • Lloyd’s has also pledged to reduce the carbon emissions it finances by more than 50% come 2030.

  • The bank also has its own target to reduce emissions by 80% by 2050.

What does this mean?

These are all part of a wider green campaign from Lloyd’s – various other efforts including a social media campaign and training relationship managers on sustainability issues are also well underway.
