FinTech in focus at Davos World Economic Forum

Delegates at the 2020 World Economic Forum have been urged to commit to FinTech.

In Brief:

  • deVere Group CEO Nigel Green reportedly said it’s important to champion the Fourth Industrial Revolution in business.

  • He cited “seismic shifts” in the financial services industry.

  • A number of FinTechs, RegTechs, InvesTechs and of course large banks on digital transformation journeys are all present at the 50th annual forum.

What does this mean?

Davos is an annual two-day conference attended by the world’s leading businesspeople and political figures. A key issue on the agenda is climate change, so it will be interesting to find out if responsible investment and FinTech for good will be a hot topic.
