BlueCode raises $13mn

Austrian FinTech company Bluecode has raised $13mn.

In Brief:

  • Bluecode provides payment solutions for smartphones.

  • These can be integrated with banks’ apps or via a cobranded app.

  • Investment came from private venture capitalists in Europe.

What does this mean?

Bluecode has said this is one of the highest FinTech investments in Austria this year. The company aims to provide a European alternative to the large US FinTechs.
