Visible Capital gains £500,000 funding

Edinburgh based wealth management firm Visible Capital will create new jobs thanks to fresh funding.

In Brief:

  • The funding comes from Techstart Ventures and a consortium of eight private investors.

  • Visible Capital is a platform supporting wealth managers and financial advisers.

  • The company plans to launch in early 2020.

What does this mean?

The business says it will use the capital to hire ‘critical’ new employees which is positive news for the Scottish FinTech scene. The company already has approval from the FCA and several potential client ahead of its launch in the new year.
