Signicat, SurePay team up for account verification

Digital ID platform Signicat is teaming up with SurePay’s bank account verification service.

In Brief:

  • Rabobank’s SurePay helps to verify the identification of international bank accounts so senders know who they are paying.

  • Signicat specialises in crossborder, cloud-based electronic identity services and electronic signatures.

  • The partnership will be available to users in the Netherlands.

What does this mean?

The Account Check service will make payments more secure for customers by enabling them to view details of a beneficiary before they complete a transaction. It will outline whether SurePay has found a match on its database.
