New AmEx card focuses in physical activity

American Express and life insurance company Vitality have launched a new credit card.

In Brief:

  • The card rewards people for being physically active.

  • Cashback can be boosted from 13% through tracking their physical activity.

  • Points can be accumulated by running, going to the gym or meeting a stepcount.

What does this mean?

There’s no cheating allowed – Vitality members will track their physical activity on a compatible device connected to their Vitality app.
