BNP Paribas Securities Services has reportedly bought a stake in a FinTech firm.
It has bought shares in AssetMetrix, an outsourcing firm that digitalises information for investors.
AssetMetrix was founded 20 years ago and its portfolio has a total volume of over €12bn.
The business says it will be able to provide better information about investment in private equity.
What does this mean?
The investment aims to help BNP Paribas expand and digitalise its service to help offer its clients analytics and reporting tools in the private capital space.
