On Tuesday a number of Canadian companies arrived Scotland as part of a UK trade mission.
12 Canadian business leaders will be meeting industry leaders as well as government ministers.
This is part of a one week trade mission organised by DIT.
The companies include Clearbanc, Mindbridge, Katipult and Mylo.
What does this mean?
Scotland’s FinTech sector is growing fast and Mark Hallan, director of global investment at Scottish Enterprise, says it has ambitions to become a top five global FinTech centre by 2020. A key part of this will be attracting overseas FinTech firms as they look to grow their international presence.
