Finastra and Ripple partner for cross-border payments

Finastra has partnered with Ripple for fast, reliable cross-border payments.

In Brief:

  • Financial institutions using Finastra’s solutions will now benefit from Ripple’s blockchain technology.

  • Financial institutions on RippleNet will be able to access Finastra’s network of banks.

  • Mutual customers will be able to partner with one another.

What does this mean?

It’s hoped the partnership will speed up integration with a wider network of partners. Ripple will use Finastra’s wide user base to expand the reach of its solutions while Finastra will be able to harness Ripple’s blockchain technology.
