Starling Bank launches online banking for SMEs

Starling has launched a web app called Online Banking, so businesses can use its services across devices.

In Brief:

  • Starling has 66,000 business and sole trader accounts.

  • The web app aims to help businesses manage money more flexibly.

  • Businesses will be able to keep track of their spending through various categories.

What does this mean?

When awarded £100mn from the RBS disbursement to promote competition in banking and support UK SMEs. Online banking was a key promise made by Starling as part of the grant.
