Get the most out of the FinTech Alliance Investment Hub

One of the key benefits of being part of the FinTech Alliance community is the ability to access our Investment Hub.

Powered by Delio, the hub enables FinTech’s within the alliance’s community to access important routes to funding directly through our website. The platform has been specially shaped to help grow high quality FinTech propositions and help them access the tools and knowledge to secure capital investment. Ultimately the goal is to help alliance members access the investment ecosystem at the push of a button and allow opportunities for both FinTechs and investors on a greater scale than either could manage on their own.

How to use the Hub

For both FinTechs looking for funding and for high net worth investors looking for funding opportunities the process of using the platform is straightforward.

For FinTech Companies

FinTechs looking for funding must first register on the Investment Hub. This is a separate process to joining the FinTech Alliance. They will need to submit a username and password. Once registered a company can post the project they seek to be funded. They do so by filling out a simple online form (see screenshot below).

Here they explain the nature of the funding opportunity, how much they are looking for, what level of funding they fit into (seed, angel, e.t.c.) and as well as highlighting the value of the company and how much funding has previously been secured. At this point they can upload relevant images and video to highlight the funding opportunity, background information about the company and the management team as well as relevant documents in PDF or Word form to explain and advance the deal process (including an investment prospectus, and NDAs and documentation critical to the transaction management and completion.

Once all the relevant information has been submitted it will be forwarded for approval. Once approved the FinTech will be able to track investor engagement with the funding proposal via a dashboard on the platform and interact directly with investors that are interested.

For Investors

Investors first undergo a simple FCA-compliant on boarding process to establish their credential. Once approved investors can view all the potential funding deals currently posted on the site by FinTechs. They can browse the dedicated page that has been created by the FinTech seeking funding. Here they will find all the relevant information and documents uploaded by the FinTech about the funding opportunity.

When they find an opportunity that meets their interest they can interact directly with the FinTech through the platform. An investor can also report on any transactions made via the platform as well as adding an external deal, creating a consolidated reporting tool for their entire portfolio. The investment portal gives investors a truly end-to-end solution, from distribution to execution all the way through to portfolio reporting.

Ultimately  the power that comes from having a connected ecosystem powered by Delio’s technology can help the entire UK FinTech community and complement the other knowledge, networking, education and talent resources the Alliance has be created to offer.
